11:45 pm - As long as I'm not studying for the biochem final...
Does anyone use/own/have access to a juicer?

I want to buy one, but the internet is surprisingly short on the juicer comparisons (or else my google skills suck.)

I'm looking for something under $50 that is easy to clean.

I don't care about oxidation, heat, or any other potential form of 'nutrient destruction' - I just want to make juice out of vegetables.

Any suggestions/advice?

11:16 pm - Facts of the Day
- the average lecture lasts 1 microcentury

- a nano-lightsecond = 1 foot

- there is unlimited room for long-term storage of knowledge in the human brain. (Okay, 'unlimited' in the biological sense, not the physics sense.)

... back to studying.

And another regrettable thing about death
is the ceasing of your own brand of magic,
which took a whole life to develop and market --
the quips, the witticisms, the slant
adjusted to a few, those loved ones nearest
the lip of the stage, their soft faces blanched
in the footlight glow, their laughter close to tears,
their tears confused with their diamond earrings,
their warm pooled breath in and out with your heartbeat,
their response and your performance twinned.
The jokes over the phone. The memories
packed in the rapid-access file. The whole act.
Who will do it again? That's it: no one;
imitators and descendants aren't the same.
